LEARNING DISABILITY NURSES.
Brief.
Obsidian Healthcare are continuously recruiting the very best Learning Disability Nurses (RNLD’s) to join our workforce in delivering the highest standards of professionalism and care to our Clients and their Service Users.
We are looking for reliable Nurses with the flexibility to pick up vacancies at short notice to support our NHS and Private Clients with their last-minute temporary staffing needs. In return you will be rewarded with market leading hourly pay rates and our Consultant team’s full dedication in the acquisition and fulfilment of sustainable work for the long term.
Requirements.
A valid NMC Pin.
A minimum of 1 years’ experience in the last 18 months working in an acute inpatient or community setting.
A minimum of 18 months experience in the last 2 years working in a complex clinical area (PMLD).
Evidence of PMVA and experience with challenging behaviours (desirable).
A emphasis on the promotion of independence, especially if working with under 18s.
An emphasis on promoting independence, health, and well-being.
A knowledge of nonverbal communication techniques.
A willingness to work to our Company Expectations.
