Our extensive referencing and compliance process demonstrates that our workers are highly skilled, experienced, and professionally qualified to work within the clinical area in which they are placed.

  • All our Candidates must be authorized to work in UK and hold a valid, unrestricted professional registration.

  • All our Candidates must complete and provide all necessary documentation outlined in the on-boarding section below.

  • All applicants will be subject to the rehabilitation of offender’s act (exceptions order) 1975 and therefore the completion of an enhanced disclosure check will be required to check for any past criminal cautions or convictions.

OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS.

Here’s what you should expect when registering with us:

  • Initial phone interview.

  • The timely completion of our application and registrations forms, followed by the submission of our required compliance documents.

  • In depth video/face-to-face interview with nursing manager.

  • Referencing based on your area of experience - we require two written references to be completed by colleagues in a senior position to yourself to verify your skills and competencies for the job role you have applied for.

  • Verification of identity documents - these need to be in line with current home office guidelines and NHS Employers’ standards.

  • Completion of an Enhanced DBS or evidence of a certificate on the DBS update service.

  • Completion of our occupational health assessment form - immunisation’s must be provided and need to be in line with current ‘green book’ guidelines. Please note - the relevant immunisation records must be provided for the role in which you are applying for.

  • Up to date evidence of Annual Mandatory Training - the practical course must be completed for basic life support and manual handling.

  • For specialist and advanced roles please provide evidence of relevant post graduate courses, educational certificates, transcripts, etc.

Please ensure to provide a current up to date CV. You must provide a full history of your employment and any gaps between employment periods, e.g. unemployed, gap year travel, or career break etc. 

Please provide 2 References covering 3 years or 1 Reference covering 5 years. You must include your referees’ contact information; work email and job role. Your referees must be someone who had line management/supervisory responsibility for you in your job role who can comment on your work experience, competence, personal qualifications and suitability for the post.

Previous employment history and references will be checked before we can make you an unconditional offer of employment. References and application forms will be cross-checked as part of this process.

To avoid any delays in the recruitment process, you must provide the appropriate information in respect of your references on your application form.   • Any previous line managers/supervisors for the last 3 years of your employment/academic history (as appropriate).

The Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act (2006), which came into effect on 29 February 2008, introduced statutory obligations on employers, and we are required to undertake mandatory checks to assess the eligibility of an individual’s right to work in the UK by verifying specified documents or combinations of documents. The documents must show that you are entitled to do the type of work being offered.

Acceptable personal identification documents

Certain documents, in certain combinations, are acceptable for verification of identity. Prospective employees will need to provide either of these two combinations:

          • Two forms of photographic personal identification and one document confirming their address.

          or

          • One form of photographic personal identification and two documents confirming their address.

At least one of these documents must contain the applicant’s signature.

If no appropriate photographic ID is available, the below must be provided:

  • Two forms of non photo ID.

  • Two documents confirming your address.

  • A passport sized photo (signed by a person of standing in the community verifying your identity).

In addition to you registered diploma/degree, please also include any further qualifications relevant/required for the role for which you have applied.

CRIMINAL RECORD CHECKS.

As per the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 you are not entitled to withhold any information about criminal convictions you may have had, for which you have not yet been rehabilitated, or prosecutions pending.  If the work for which you are applying involves direct contact with people who are receiving a health service, you must also give details of any spent conviction. You must give details on the application form of date, type of offence, sentence, fine imposed etc.

DBS must be on the update system or we will have to apply for another one for you.

All Trainings must be in date and aligned to Skills for Health otherwise we are not able to use it. Please note - training modules required vary depending on the role you are applying for.
